Pleasure Beach is situated on the central seafront of Skegness
and stretches from the Clock Tower Esplande to the Pier parallel
to the beach. Bottons have been providing
all the fun and thrills of the traditional fairground for all the
family since taking over the site from Billy Butlin in 1965.
There
is no charge for admission to the park. Ride tokens can be purchased
from the kiosks within the park, where special discount bags are available. New for 2010 New Family Thrill Ride "REMIX 11" There are a wide variety of rides designed to give pleasure and excitement to adults and children of all ages, including the Saucer, Yo-Yo Chair Ride, Dodgems, Ghost Train, Big Apple, Formula One, Runaway Train, Waltzer, Giant Wheel, New Flying Twist, Paratrooper, Pirate Boat, Surf Rider, Super X Simulator, Storm Roller Coaster, Safari Train, Queen Bee, Wild River Log Flume and Rockin Tug. Other cash only attractions include dozens of remote controlled games and coin operated rides such as Adult Go Karts, Mini Go Karts and Mini Motor Bikes as well as four modern arcades with the latest amusements, plus a licensed Snooker Club, Souvenir Shop, Restaurants, Hot Dog, Doughnut, Candy Floss and Ice Cream Kiosks. New 10 pin Bowling Alley Now Open We now have a new McDonalds Restaurant on the Pleasure Beach promenade along with many other fast food outlets and fancy good shops. Also along the front we have the Wild River Log Flume and a new 9-hole adventure golf course. Within the Pleasure Beach we have a new Italian Giant Wheel with 18 gondola's. You can try your skill and luck to win prizes on the many sideshows or discover what the future holds by visiting the Romany Clairvoyants on site. Our most recent development, to the front of Pleasure Beach, is the Cactus Canyon Tub Ride and Gold Mine Nine Hole Adventure Putting Course. Open Weekends from early March, Easter Week and May Day Bank Holiday. Open Every Day from 2nd June until 16th September 2012 Open Weekends in October up to and including all Half Term week.
